We’ve tried to keep the language here as plain as possible. If anything is unclear, email us and we’ll happily explain.

Who we are

This website is owned and operated by The Irish Horizon, an independently run Ireland travel blog and shop. For shop orders, we work with Printify, a print-on-demand platform, to produce and ship items to customers worldwide.

Using our website

You’re welcome to browse, read, and share our content. By using this site, you agree to:

  • Use it for lawful purposes only.
  • Not attempt to copy, scrape, or republish our content without permission.
  • Not do anything that could damage, disable, or interfere with the site or its security.

Our content is for general information

We research every article carefully, but we’re writing as enthusiasts and researchers, not as a government body or official tourism authority. Travel requirements, prices, opening hours, and other details can change without notice, and we can’t guarantee everything on this site is fully up to date at the moment you read it.

Before you travel, please double-check important details like visa requirements, transport schedules, and opening hours with official or up-to-date sources. We’re not liable for any loss or inconvenience that comes from relying solely on information found on this site.

Buying from our shop

  • Made to order: Every item in our shop is produced only once you order it, through our print-on-demand partner, Printify, and their print partners.
  • Order confirmation: You’ll receive a confirmation email once your order is placed.
  • Production: Production typically begins within 2 to 3 business days of your order.

Shipping and delivery

Shipping times vary depending on your location and are estimated at checkout. We’re not responsible for delays caused by customs processing, postal or courier services, or incorrect delivery details provided at checkout, so please double-check your address before ordering.

Returns, refunds, and exchanges

Because our products are made to order:

  • We can’t accept returns or exchanges for buyer’s remorse, wrong size, or wrong colour selected at checkout.
  • We will offer a reprint or refund for items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.
  • You’ll need to report any issue within 30 days of delivery, along with clear photo or video evidence.

Pricing and payment

  • All prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise.
  • Payment is required in full at the time of ordering.
  • We accept the secure payment methods shown at checkout.

Import duties and taxes

If you’re ordering from outside our home shipping region, your order may be subject to import duties, customs fees, or local taxes on arrival. These charges are set by your country’s customs authority and are your responsibility to pay. We don’t have visibility into what these charges will be, so please check with your local customs office if you’re unsure.

Newsletter and communications

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we’ll send you occasional updates, travel tips, and product news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

Privacy and cookies

Our content and intellectual property

All original content on this site, including articles, photography, illustrations, logos, and designs, belongs to The Irish Horizon (or is used with permission) and is protected by copyright. You’re welcome to link to our posts or share them on social media. Please don’t copy, republish, or reuse our text, images, or designs elsewhere without asking us first.

Things you agree not to do

While using our website or shop, you agree not to:

  • Use the site for anything illegal.
  • Infringe on our or anyone else’s intellectual property rights.

We do our best to keep our site running smoothly and our information accurate, but we can’t guarantee the site will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly up to date. To the extent allowed by law, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.

For shop orders, production and shipping are handled by Printify and their print partners. We’re not liable for delays or issues that arise directly from their processes, but we’ll always work with you to resolve problems as set out in our Refund and Return Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time as our site or shop evolves. If we make changes, we’ll update the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
